In this blog, Recruitment Manager, Serena Khima, talks us through the highlights of the year so far and what’s in store at ATM for the forthcoming quarter.

What does recruitment activity currently look like at ATM?

We kick-started 2023 by recruiting 83 agents in January, due to a recruitment drive across our four offices in Leicester, Coventry, Stockport and Sligo. This was an amazing achievement and a busy start to the year, but that’s nothing out of the ordinary for us at ATM! We are an expanding business, partnering with major companies who constantly require growing resources, so we regularly recruit for customer service and sales campaigns.

What were the highlights at ATM in the last quarter?

We’ve had a very busy, successful quarter implementing new recruitment techniques within the existing team. I recently joined the business in November last year and the in-house recruitment function at ATM is constantly evolving. One of my main aims upon joining was to make the department more streamlined as being contact centre focused, it is a very busy, campaign-driven environment.

After a lot of research, I’m really excited to share that we are implementing our very first recruitment software (an ATS). This will take our function to the next level, offering a refreshed, bespoke Careers website to offer a more tailored candidate journey, whilst also allowing us to optimise the entire recruitment lifecycle.

What’s the focus for the next quarter?

Our next quarter will no doubt see growth in our recruitment activity and we are excited to attend our first Coventry Jobs Fair on the 5th May, at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

We will also be heavily focused on implementing our new ATS system and Careers site over the next couple of months, so watch this space for further details!
