We spoke to one of our Sales Agents to give you a ‘behind the scenes’ perspective and truly find out what day-to-day life is like at ATM:

What initially appealed to you about working at ATM?

I found the job on a recruitment site and could see that it was sales focused and had a great earning potential. I had an interview, was offered the position and have now been at ATM for two years.

What does your role as an agent entail? 

My responsibilities include identifying potential customers and providing the customer with the best possible deal. It’s always very rewarding knowing you have helped a customer to save money.

Can you describe what a typical day looks like for you?

We have a Team meeting in the morning where we give ‘shout-outs’ to the top performers from the previous day. The team manager then goes through the plan for the week and we assess whether we are meeting our targets. We usually end up debating football and chatting about our weekends before we start dialling.

What have you learnt since you’ve begun working at ATM?

I’ve learnt that progression is accessible to those that want to develop. All staff gain skills that will help you in everyday life and I have gained so much confidence since working at ATM.

What’s your favourite part about your role at ATM?

The buzz from smashing targets, feeling like a winner and knowing you have helped a customer to save money! It’s a relaxed but driven team – everyone is welcomed into the business and the senior team are very supportive.

Why would you encourage others to apply to work as an agent at ATM?

It’s not a typical contact centre. The role really helps to build your confidence, develop your skills and offers great earning potential. If you’re driven, sociable and want to learn new skills, then you should definitely consider joining the ATM family.
