At ATM, we believe in nurturing and developing our wonderful team of people so they can enjoy their own personal career progression and be their best self. Our people are our strength, so we invest in industry leading training for our data specialist jobs through our SAP Limos software, along with support and guidance. At ATM, we’re on hand, helping our team with their team progression, every step of the way.

But don’t just take our word for it, hear what our employees have to say… we recently sat down with three members of our team to find out about their own personal career progression with ATM, including their achievements so far and their future plans for even more development.

Supporting our staff through Covid. It was a tough time, but we pulled together and were really there for each other.

Reaching the position of Quality manager and also creating a team of excellent QAS.

Last but not least, meet our Team Manager:

What position did you start at with ATM?

I started as a Team Manager

How long have you worked at ATM?

To be precise 2 years 7 months!

What was your background before joining the team?

My background has always been within a contact centre environment, with experience in both sales and customer service, I’ve worked within various industries including Hastings Direct Insurance, BSS – National Careers Service and lastly working for O2, setting up and running a contact centre for them.

How has your role grown since you started at ATM?

Since I started, my role has allowed me to have experience of working on various campaigns for the business from CPW, Talk Talk and Boots. This has given me a greater understanding of a lot of areas of the business. I have also been given the responsibility for recruiting, planning, and training many inductions for both CPW and Boots.  Furthermore, I help support new managers that have joined the business and I also manage the Boots campaign to a high standard in John’s absence.

What is your biggest achievement to date at ATM?

Helping set up and running the Boots campaign from the very beginning to the successful standard we are at today. It’s been a lot of very hard work, but that hard work does pay off if you’re willing to do it, which I am!

What is your favourite part of working at ATM?

Being part of a growing company that has the capability to help people create a career for themselves.  I love everything about helping people to be successful and have trained and managed people who have gone onto progress within the business.

Where do you see yourself in 5- and 10-years’ time?

I see myself continuing to grow to the highest potential level. I will do whatever it takes to get to where I need to be. The cycle of learning doesn’t stop, and I will gain knowledge through my experiences, which will lead me on to great things in the future! If we are also talking from a personal perspective, I have my eye on a cottage in a village (if you have seen a film called The Holiday, you will understand what I mean!)

What are you most proud of in your career at ATM so far?

That I pride myself in doing the best possible job I can and will always face any challenges head on. I don’t give up easily and I am 100% focused on performance and growing any campaign I work on to be the biggest success.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Working for ATM can be a challenge but I love it. I feel I have a strong work ethic and I take great pride in what I do.  I wouldn’t say I’m a manager who shouts about their achievements and in some ways, this could be to my detriment, but I do work hard and I’m committed to doing my part to help the business progress and grow.

We’d like to say a huge thanks to our team members for sharing their insight on working at ATM. We’re incredibly proud of them, and all our ATM team, for the way they pull together to make our vision a success. And, we’re always on the lookout for new members to join us so, if you’re interested in joining a company that values employee career progression and growth, take a look at our latest vacancies and our careers page. We look forward to hearing from you.
